Juno Awards 2017 finden heute statt

OTTAWA: Heute Abend (02.04.) ist es soweit: In Ottawa werden die Juno Awards verliehen. Und als großer Favorit gilt Shawn Mendes. Der Sänger wurde nämlich insgesamt fünf Mal nominiert. Konkurrenz erhält Mendes dabei von Drake und The Weeknd, die ebenfalls in fünf Kategorien nominiert wurden. Weitere Mehrfachnennungen erhielten Alessia Cara, der verstorbene Leonard Cohen und „The Strumbellas“. Moderiert wird die kanadische Musikpreisverleihung von Russell Peters und Bryan Adams. Als Showacts ist mit unter anderem mit Sarah MCLachlan, „A Tribe Called Red“ und die „Arkells“ zu rechnen.
